Introduction:

The women surgery ward is located on 2^nd floor and has 9 rooms. It has one single room, one four-bed room, and the rest are two-bed rooms.

Ward services:

Performing any related women surgeries such as caesarean, repairing vaginal walls, vaginal hysterectomy, abdominal hysterectomy, curettage, ectopic pregnancy surgery and oophorectomy, caesarean schedule, and post-operative natural childbirth and caesarean care is done in this ward. It is possible for the newborns to be present with the mother, as well as providing the necessary arrangements for the baby care. Moreover, any related consults with specialist would arrange and be done.

Personnel/Physician:

This ward consist of 4 midwives and 4 nurses. An NICU specialist is present at the ward in each shift work for taking care of newborns. Specialists of this ward are listed below: Dr.AdibAra, Dr.Arshadi, Dr.Azadi, Dr.Shahrivar, Dr.Kazemi, Dr.Soltani, Dr.Asadollahi, Dr.Ruzitalab, and Dr.Mansouri.

Ward equipment:

Including portable monitor, suction, DC shock device, weighing scale, oxygen gauge, wheel chair, blood pressure device, adults and pediatric laryngoscope and electric shower.

Future Perspective:

Developing the operation rooms, equipment and setting up an NICU ward would be done in near future.
