Introduction:

Nephrology department has 6 rooms each having 2 beds. In general it has 12 beds. Each room has a shared bathroom.

The ward services:

Daily round by Dr. Tara, kidney biopsy if needed, transferring the patients to necessary wards if needed such as haj Ebrahimi dialysis, following up treatment procedures

Physicians:

Dr. Ahmad Tara (nephrology specialist),

Dr. Faraji. A general physician who is present 8 hours a day in the ward,

13 nurses, 4 assistants and a secretary

Ward equipment:

Portable and fixed monitors, pump syringe, infusion pump, oximetry pulse, ventilator, portable and fixed suction, dressing trawls

Future perspectives:

To improve this ward as one of the peak performance units in Middle East.
