Introduction:

The VIP general surgical ward is located in 5^th floor and has 32 beds. This ward has two rooms with 4 beds, 3 private rooms and also two isolated rooms.

Ward services:

Providing pre and post-surgical care for cancer patients and also performing parenteral nutrition for them. Coordinating all paraclinical arrangements needed inside or outside the hospital for hospitalization or performing ERCP, MRCP, MRI, CT scan and radiography.

Personnel/Physician:

The ward’s specialists are Dr.Nikeghbalian (professor of surgery and fellowship of liver and kidney transplantation), Dr.Kamyab Samimi, Dr.Jamshidi and Dr.Zahedi nasab (general surgery), Dr.Hashemi (cosmetic surgery), Dr.Salahi (subspecialist in organ transplantation), Dr.Khorshidi and Dr.Tadayon, Dr.Abedi and Dr.Majid Samimi (Urologist), Dr.Ranjbar (Neurosurgery) and Dr.Karami (ENT). Moreover, 30 personnel work there including 25 nurses.

Ward equipment:

Including syringe pump, suction, portable monitor, infusion pump, D/C shock device, Otoscope and Laryngoscope.

Providing the best standard health care for the patients and reduce the nosocomial infections.

Ward recommendations to clients:

Be careful about the health care education upon your arrival. Due to the low immune system of patients, each patient should have only one fixed attendant and observing health care is compulsory. Do not bring any eatable thing, blanket or sheet from out of the hospital.
